After spending years as an emergency room nurse, I realized that much of healthcare focuses on treating people after they become sick or experience a crisis. While I have always been passionate about helping patients during those critical moments, I wanted to create an opportunity to focus more on prevention, wellness, education, and helping people feel their best before they reach that point. Rooted Wellness & Aesthetics was born from my desire to combine my clinical expertise with a more personalized approach to care. As a nurse, patient safety has always been my top priority. I became driven to create a location where clients can receive individualized treatments, education, and support tailored to their unique goals. Whether it’s IV hydration, vitamin injections, wellness coaching, or aesthetic services, my goal is to help people invest in themselves, improve their well-being, and gain confidence through safe, evidence-based care. At the end of the day, I’m still doing what I love - caring for people. The difference is that now I have the opportunity to help them proactively optimize their health, wellness, and confidence, not just respond when something goes wrong.

With more than 20 years of board-certified experience in Emergency Medicine, Dr. Eric Telfer, M.D. brings extensive clinical expertise and a deep commitment to patient care at Rooted Wellness & Aesthetics. His passion for health and wellness extends beyond the emergency department, where he focuses on helping patients achieve healthier, more confident lives through personalized, evidence-based care. As Medical Director, Dr. Telfer ensures every treatment at Rooted Wellness & Aesthetics meets the highest standards of safety and clinical excellence. When he's not caring for patients, Dr. Telfer enjoys spending quality time with his wife and children.
